Terms of Service

Last updated: July 14, 2026

These Terms govern your use of Plantome (“植物引力”), including the iOS app and related support pages.

1. Using Plantome

Plantome provides tools to help you organize plant profiles, care reminders, observations, recognition suggestions, weather context, and related garden experiences.

By using Plantome, you agree to use the app lawfully, respect applicable platform rules, and avoid attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer, or misuse the service in ways that harm other users or the service itself.

2. User Content

You retain ownership of the plant information, photos, notes, and other content you create in Plantome.

You are responsible for the content you upload or store, including ensuring that you have the rights needed to use any photos or materials you add.

Plantome may process your content only as needed to provide features you request, such as local storage, optional iCloud sync or sharing, poster generation, and plant recognition.

3. Plant Care Disclaimer

Plantome provides informational guidance, reminders, recognition suggestions, and weather-related context to support your plant-care experience.

Plantome is not a substitute for professional horticultural advice. Plant health can vary based on species, environment, soil, pests, watering habits, and other factors outside our control.

You remain responsible for decisions about watering, fertilizing, relocating, pruning, or otherwise caring for your plants.

4. Third-party Services

Some features depend on third-party or platform services, including Apple WeatherKit, Apple iCloud / CloudKit, and Baidu AI Cloud for plant recognition analysis.

Availability, accuracy, and performance of those services may change. Plantome is not responsible for outages, delays, or limitations caused by third-party providers or by your device, network, or Apple account settings.

5. Data and Account Notes

Much of your Plantome data is stored on your device by default. Optional sync and sharing features may store selected data in your Apple iCloud account.

Access to iCloud-based features depends on your Apple ID, iCloud settings, and Apple platform policies. Plantome does not control Apple account recovery, family sharing invitations managed by Apple, or Apple’s infrastructure.

Please review our Privacy Policy for details about how information is processed.

6. Changes to the Service

We may update, improve, pause, or discontinue features of Plantome over time, including recognition capacity, weather-related guidance, sync options, and support resources.

We may also update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of Plantome after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
